18K Yellow Gold Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Ring

This elegant vintage ring is crafted in rich 18K yellow gold and showcases a distinctive, thoughtfully engineered design. At its centre, three round sapphires are arranged horizontally, their deep blue tones beautifully contrasted by the warm gold setting. Separating the central sapphire from each outer stone are unique bone-shaped elements, each set with two small diamonds, one at either end. These sculptural connectors serve both decorative and functional purposes: acting as semi-bezels that cradle the sapphires on one side, while the opposite side is secured with prongs. 

The central sapphire is further emphasized with prongs at both the north and south positions, enhancing its prominence. The outer sapphires feature prongs that flow seamlessly into the ornate shoulder design, creating a continuous, harmonious aesthetic. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with graceful swirling motifs, which extend into the undergallery. There, the swirls are complemented by delicate circular piercings, adding depth and an airy intricacy to the piece.

Inside the band, clear hallmarks tell the story of its origin: a lion passant indicating assay in London, a crown alongside “18” confirming 18K gold purity, and the date letter “t,” denoting the year 1974.
