9K Yellow Gold Two Mice and a Boot Motif Pendant

Whimsical, sculptural, and richly detailed, this 9k yellow gold pendant captures a charming narrative scene in exquisite 3-dimensional form. Designed as a finely rendered vintage-style boot, the piece evokes the character of well-worn footwear, complete with softened contours, a gently folded top edge, and a thoughtfully integrated bale attached to the boot’s rear pull tab. The boot tag itself, traditionally used for slipping the boot on and off, serves as the pendant’s hidden suspension point, preserving the realism of the design. Every detail of the boot is carefully articulated. The laces have been removed, revealing the interior structure, including the eyelet holes, heel form, and leather sole construction. 

The toe shows a subtly worn and split appearance at the bottom, enhancing the sense of history and lived-in character. The craftsmanship is so refined that the openwork design allows glimpses into the boot’s interior, adding depth and authenticity to the miniature sculpture. Perched playfully on the boot are two finely detailed 3-D mice, each rendered in contrasting white gold. One mouse sits on the toe, while the other rests comfortably on the folded leather at the top. Their bodies feature delicate ribbed texturing, bringing a lifelike softness and movement to the composition while contrasting beautifully against the warm yellow gold of the boot. The pendant is accompanied by a 10K yellow gold adjustable 16–18" curb link chain with a secure lobster clasp, offering versatile and comfortable wear. 

Adding historical significance, the boot is stamped with traditional British hallmarks, including an anchor (Birmingham assay office), the numeral “9” and “375” denoting 9 karat gold, and the letter “N,” indicating its hallmark date of 1962–1963.
