Born in Edmonton, Alta., Dawn Chubai is a 17 year broadcast veteran who has enjoyed working the last 13 years as co-host on Breakfast Television in Vancouver. In the spring of 2017, Dawn and her husband Brad moved to Toronto, along with in-laws Myron and Betty — and yes, this is a good thing as they all get along famously! She's looking forward to experiencing the four seasons that Ontario has to offer especially fall's moderate temperatures, colours and of course the fashions!

Dawn brings with her many diverse on air experiences — rappelling down a 20-storey building in a latex cat suit and stiletto heels for Easter Seals, flying with the Snowbirds, and cooking with some of the best chefs in the country. Some of her career highlights include interviewing Commander Chris Hadfield, making pizza with Dragon and entrepreneur Jim Treliving and interviewing the "first American Supermodel" Cheryl Tiegs.

Dawn is also an award winning jazz vocalist and recording artist, media trainer, public speaker and can be seen as a "reporter" on some of your favourite movies and television series!

When not on stage or screen, Dawn can be seen in the community working with national and local charities to bring awareness to many important causes.
