2020 Six-Piece Fine Gold Coin Set Ocean's Pride, Africa Edition

Pay tribute to some of the immeasurable treasures of the oceans with this six-piece fine-gold coin set jointly issued by six African countries. Each coin is struck in 0.5 grams of fine gold with an 11-mm diameter, and a mintage of just 2,500. The coins present some of the most intriguing underwater life in our oceans, with the intention of raising awareness of the need to protect these precious natural habitats. The designs include a stingray, hammerhead shark, sea urchin, dugong, sunfish and corals. Overfishing, pollution and climate change put pressure on our oceans, and this collection celebrates some of the majesty of the oceans that needs to be protected.
