For those of us who love ghost stories, this double-image lenticular large-format 25-cent coin will send shivers down your spine as it tells a tale of haunted Canada. The story and imagery take us to Bell Island, where a female figure dressed in white can be seen hovering over a young man. Using lenticular technology, a haunting effect can be seen when the coin is tilted—the ghost’s youthful appearance changes to a terrifying visage!

This dual-dated RCM half-dollar is one of the lowest-mintage standard composition and size half-dollars ever issued, and marks the return of the Jets to Winnipeg.

Haunted Canada Brakeman, 2015
The large-format 25-cent coin features a portrait of a ghostly brakeman dressed in his 1928 uniform, holding a lantern. Using lenticular technology, a haunting effect can be seen when the coin is tilted—the brakeman appears without a head, with two small, glowing orbs that create the illusion of peering eyes!

25-Cent Finish Collection Five-Coin Numismatic Set, 2020
Discover six different finishes used by the Royal Canadian Mint on this five-piece 25-cent collection. The first three finishes shown include “brilliant uncirculated” as used for business-strikes and numismatic uncirculated sets, “frosted proof” as appears in classic proof sets, and “specimen” as appears in modern RCM specimen sets. The set also includes “reverse proof” and “matte proof” finishes, which are not normally seen for this denomination. 

Classic Uncirculated Coin Set, 2021
This classic coin set includes numismatic uncirculated examples of all six Canadian coin denominations, including the scarce half-dollar which is no longer issued for circulation.

R&D Test Token Set, 2021
This six-piece test token set provides a unique glimpse into the latest developments in high-security coinage from the Royal Canadian Mint’s Research and Development facility in Winnipeg, including the use of new multi-component composites. Three of the tokens included in this set feature the RCM’s new “MC4” technology. Providing the newest and most complex security features, these combine four different components: an outer ring, a polymer separator and an inner core featuring two different alloys. Each token also features interrupted serrations on its edge and multi-security features including visible and hidden microtext and latent images, plus positive and negative embossing. 

Heroes of 1812 Five-Coin Numismatic Uncirculated Set
The War of 1812 was a fundamental turning point in Canada’s development as a nation. To mark the 200th anniversary of this historic conflict, this five-piece coin set celebrates the stories of heroes that arose from the war. The four selectively coloured 25-cent coins feature Sir Isaac Brock, Tecumseh, Charles-Michel de Salaberry and Laura Secord. The two-dollar coin features the HMS Shannon and its decisive naval victory against the USS Chesapeake on June 1, 1813.
