Estate Originals 18K Yellow Gold Spider Web Pendant with a Sapphire and Old European Cut Diamonds

In Victorian England, insect jewellery was increasingly popular; common examples include jewellery modelled after butterflies, beetles and dragonflies, but spiders were also very common. The spider represents mystery and growth, and the darker aspect of your personality. This pendant features a three-dimensional white gold spider in its web. Set into the middle is a prong-set 0.44-carat sapphire and three diamonds, one old European-cut and two round brilliants, are scattered throughout. A twisted rope surrounds the perimeter, and a large matching bale is located at the top. This pendant hangs from a 16- to 18-inch 18K yellow gold chain with lobster clasp.
