Product Overview

This is an incredibly sweet and sparkly toi et moi ring, made to represent the art Deco period, circa 1925–1935. This style of ring (toi et moi is French for "you and me") is often given as an engagement or anniversary ring, the most famous example of which was the ring given by Napoleon to Josephine. The two large stones are representative of the individuals joined in union. Josephine’s ring held a pear-shaped diamond and sapphire, but in this example two bright 0.23-carat early brilliant-cut diamonds are set side-by-side within a rectangular east/west bezel. Not only is this ring oozing with romance, but it is also sensibly and sturdily made and is modelled in 14K white gold. The shoulders have a scrolled step design, and the gallery has open scrollwork to allow light to reach the underside of the diamonds for maximum sparkle.
