Product Overview

This stunning Alexander the Great/Herakles medallic piece combines fine art, collectability and investment, and is struck in five ounces of .9999 fine silver. With a diameter of about 65 mm, the large-format ultra-high-relief design is based on the tetradrachm coins issued under the rule of Alexander the Great in ancient Greece from 336 to 323 BCE, and is a true work of art. The image is of Herakles wearing a headdress made of a lion skin. This antique version adds an enhanced sculptural art look with a high-contrast finish on the ultra-high-relief silver design.
