A multi-media trailblazer who first made a major mark in broadcasting as co-host of the ground-breaking show 'The New Music', Toronto-born Jeanne Beker went on to launch 'MuchMusic', and two years later, in 1985, changed the face of fashion reporting with the legendary 'Fashion Television'.

In the international style trenches for a whopping 27 years, Jeanne travelled the world in the name of fashion and her innovative series was seen in over 130 countries. A seasoned print journalist who's covered fashion and lifestyle for myriad magazines and newspapers, Jeanne was editor-in-chief of FQ and SIR magazines from 2003 to 2008. She now writes for a variety of publications and is a featured style columnist for Post City magazine.

In her "spare time", Jeanne launched her own clothing and accessories lines, and since 2015, has been TSC's Style Editor and host of 'Style Matters with Jeanne Beker'. She regularly makes guest appearances on a variety of shows, from 'Breakfast Television' and 'City Line' to 'Etalk' and 'Entertainment Tonight'. Jeanne received the Order of Canada in 2014 for her support of Canadian designers and was inducted into the American Marketing Association's Hall of Legends in 2015. Among her many prestigious honours is a special achievement award from the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television for changing the way Canadians watch TV.

Jeanne is active with numerous charities and philanthropic groups, and is an honourary board member of Gilda's Club and Women's Brain Health, as well as being on the advisory boards of the Ryerson School of Fashion, Toronto's Fashion Incubator, and Toronto Women's Fashion Week. A much in-demand public speaker, Jeanne has an honourary doctorate from St. Mary's University, and last year, received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.

The mother of two highly creative daughters, and a strong proponent of fashion's hi/low mix, Jeanne's managed to strike an inspiring lifestyle balance, and when she's not travelling the globe, lives between her downtown Toronto home and her historical country house in Ontario's Northumberland County with her partner, Iain, and her pup, Gus and spends time with her two daughters Bekky and Joey.
