Product Overview

A beautiful example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, this gold antique bar pin blends delicate detailing with timeless elegance. Expertly rendered in two-tone gold, the base is crafted in white gold, while a softly arched yellow gold bar curves along the top, adding warmth and dimension to the design.

At the heart of the pin lies an ornate diamond arrangement, centered around a bezel-set old European cut diamond. Known for their soft sparkle and hand-cut character, old European cut diamonds bring a romantic glow and a touch of history to the piece. Surrounding the center stone is a scalloped, illusion-set frame, designed to mimic the petals of a flower and enhance the diamond’s size and brilliance, creating a delicate floral aesthetic. Extending outward from the central motif are graceful pairs of leaves and swirling scrolls, each intricately set with additional old cut diamonds. A final diamond accents each end of the bar, completing the composition.

While both sides share the same botanical and scrollwork inspiration, they are arranged with slight asymmetry, adding a subtle and artistic uniqueness to the piece. The entire white gold motif is finished with fine milgrain detailing, lending a soft, vintage texture and framing each element with precision. The pin is designed to sit horizontally and is secured with a trombone clasp, a classic closure from the Edwardian and early Art Deco periods, crafted in white gold for consistency. For added security, a safety pin-style chain is attached, preserving both the functionality and historical integrity of the piece.
