Product Overview

Graceful and timeless, this beautiful yellow gold ring showcases a striking marquise-shaped cabochon cut jadeite jade, celebrated for its smooth, luminous surface and serene green hue. The jade is set with 'V' tipped prongs at the top and bottom and is framed by a glittering halo of twenty round brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 0.66 carats, adding a delicate contrast and radiant sparkle to the design. The high-polished yellow gold band completes the piece with a sleek, refined finish that complements the natural elegance of the center stone.

Jadeite is the rarer and more valuable of the two types of jade (the other being nephrite), and is most prized for its vivid green varieties. Valued for thousands of years in Chinese, Mayan, and Maori cultures, jadeite jade has long symbolized purity, protection, and prosperity. Unlike many gemstones, jadeite is appreciated not just for its colour but also for its texture and translucency, with the finest examples appearing almost glassy or glowing from within. Jadeite is incredibly tough and durable, ranking 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, but with excellent resistance to breakage due to its interlocking crystal structure. Traditionally believed to bring harmony and balance, jadeite is often gifted as a token of good fortune, longevity, and serenity.
