Product Overview

This designer inspired ring is fashioned in a three stone across style with a larger round shaped, checkerboard cut blue tourmaline bezel-set to one side followed closely by a small bezel-set diamond while a smaller round shaped, checkerboard cut blue tourmaline is bezel-set and located on the other side. The two tourmaline combine for 1.27 carats. A satin finished 18kt yellow gold band flirts with the high polished bezels surrounding the stone. The ring rests low profile in a band style and is pierced on the inside with a lovely design that allows the light to enter and interact with the stones.

Though tourmaline occurs in virtually every color, blue is in fact the rarest tourmaline color. The blue tourmaline that has attracted the most attention is the rare Paraiba variety that was first discovered in Brazil in 1989, and then later in Nigeria and Mozambique.
