Product Overview

This 1923 Dominion of Canada $1 note (serial number D7055220 pp C) has been independently third party certified by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG)* corporation as 'about uncirculated 53'.

The note features a central vignette portrait of King George V under the scrolled text 'Dominion of Canada'.  At the bottom left and right, signatures appear for the 'Comptroller of Currency' and 'For Minister of Finance'.  While most surviving uncirculated 1923 $1 notes are from the last issue which have Campbell/Clark signatures, this note features the earlier and much scarcer Campbell/Sellar signatures with a black seal (Charlton catalogue reference DC-25n). The back of the note shows an image of the library of parliament, the only surviving building from the centre block fire of 1916.

Note: this is a 'one only' item. The note in the photo is the exact item you will receive.
