These superb collector issue silver dollars are in proof condition, the highest quality produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. Coins dated from 1971 to 1980 have a brilliant mirror finish, while coins dated 1981 and later have a frosted cameo finish. These are the first special-issue collector coins of Canada, and they remain highly collectable. In each year except 1972, an historic commemorative theme has been chosen for the design. All 15 silver coins are presented in a premium mahogany finish custom coin case; also included is a description of the designs on each coin.
