2000 18-Karat Gold Stamp Set Heart of Dragon

In the year 2000, the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post created an 18-karat gold stamp set to mark the Year of the Dragon. The set contains both the regular 95-cent postage stamp and the same stamp design struck in 18-karat gold. The strike on the gold stamp is a "reverse proof," with a frosted field and a brilliant design, creating a striking contrast.
