2003 Silver Proof Set 100th Anniversary of the Cobalt

This 2003 prestige proof set features the absolute best-quality coins and presentation produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. The coins are presented in the original dark green leather case of issue. Four of the coins (5¢, 10¢, 25¢ and 50¢) are struck in sterling silver and the two-dollar coin features a 24-karat gold plated inner core. The silver dollar marks the 100th anniversary of the cobalt discovery and is made of fine silver. All of the coins are double-struck with a frosted cameo finish.
