2012 $1 Fine Silver Coin - Artistic Two Loons with Hand-Signed Card by Artist

This 2012 collector-issue pure silver proof dollar is arguably the most beautiful silver dollar coin ever produced in Canada. Native artist Richard Hunt's design shows two loons kissing reflected in the water, with the beauty of a West Coast sunset captured in the fiery colours on the coin. The birds' stunning markings are further represented in the ring of diamond shapes surrounding the image. The design covers the entire coin with vibrant colour painted over an engraved surface. 

The mintage of this coin is limited to just 10,000. The entire mintage of this extremely popular coin sold out at the Royal Canadian Mint before the first coins were delivered to collectors.
