2014 $5 Poinsettia with Niobium Core

To create this coin, the Royal Canadian Mint combined new and innovative minting technologies with a classic flower image. The centre of the coin is struck in pure niobium, which has been naturally oxidized to refract light and create a vibrant crimson colour.
