2019 $30 Golden Reflections Fine Silver Coin Snowy Owl and Greater White-Fronted Geese

The sweeping Canadian wilderness is a gift that our nation loves to celebrate. The seemingly endless nature spanning between three oceans is a source of many wonders. Using a large 50-mm silver canvas, the design on this $30 two-ounce fine silver coin has been fashioned by award-winning Canadian wildlife artist W. Allan Hancock. Strokes of great silvery wings carry the snowy owl over the boundless landscape. It is a gorgeous bird, native to Canada's Arctic regions. One can easily recognize it by its piercing amber stare, fluffy chest and, most notably, a thick coat of snow-white feathers. Down below, two greater white-fronted geese glide across peaceful waters, accompanied by nothing more than the ripples of their reflection. An overlay of 24-karat gold adds to the glow and reflection. The obverse includes the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
