2019 Special-Issue Silver Proof Set
June 6, 1944 will forever be remembered as "D-Day," and this commemorative silver dollar marks the 75th anniversary of the historic landing of Canadian soldiers on Juno Beach as part of Operation Overlord. Through extreme bravery of Canadian and other Allied forces, the successful landing on the beaches of Normandy, France would quickly turn the tide of the war. This 2019 fine silver dollar re-creates a moment caught on film when the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment landed on the Nan Red portion of Juno Beach.
Denominations in this special issue set include the five-cent, the 10-cent, the 25-cent, the 50-cent, the loon-style dollar, the commemorative silver dollar and the two-dollar coin. The three highest denomination coins are enhanced with a selective overlay of 24-karat gold.
Canadian infantry soldiers are seen in full battle gear as they disembark from a landing craft assault vehicle and make their way to the beach and into heavy enemy fire. In the foreground, one soldier looks back at the viewer, and a hand is on the soldier's back in a gesture of encouragement as the soldiers follow each other into the low Atlantic tide. In the sky above, the letter "V" for "Victory" appears in Morse code.

1910–2010 RCM Navy Centennial Coin and Stamp Set
In 2010, Canada marked the 100th anniversary of the formation of our own navy. The Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post jointly issued a navy-themed centennial coin and stamp set. The collection includes a unique gold-plated navy collector coin, a navy commemorative stamp sheet, and a booklet outlining the history of Canada's navy. The collection is presented in an attractive aluminum case featuring a photo image from 1910 showing Canada's first navy recruits.
