2022 $5 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair 100th Anniversary Fine Silver Coin

This 2022 $5 fine silver coin marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and is proudly featured as the last of the Royal Canadian Mint's 2022 "Moments to Hold" series. Each coin in this series marks milestone anniversaries and themes that have special significance for Canada. The main design highlights some of the events and exhibits featured at the fair, where the champion rosette is the greatest aspiration of breeders, producers, growers and exhibitors alike. The coin is attractively displayed in a self-standing holder that includes detailed information about the theme and the coin itself. 

Each year, hundreds of thousands of visitors, exhibitors and competitors come together at Toronto's Exhibition Place for a celebration of excellence in agriculture, food and equine sport. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair has grown to become the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and equestrian competition in the world.
