Powered by the Apple-designed H2 chip, AirPods Pro 3 feature a completely redesigned acoustic architecture that brings breathtaking, immersive audio to everything you listen to. A new multiport acoustic architecture with more precise airflow control—featuring an inward-facing microphone that points directly into the ear canal—delivers deeper bass, vivid vocal clarity and a wider soundstage, so you never miss a note, and a custom-built driver and amplifier work with the H2 chip to create high-definition, three-dimensional sound, with super-low distortion during playback. Along with this is also a feature called Hearing Health, which is active hearing protection to help prevent excessive exposure to loud environmental noise, for safer listening.

These AirPods offer next-generation Adaptive EQ, which can customize the sound signature for the unique geometry of your ears; that is, they tune music to your ears in real time based on how they fit. Inward-facing microphones measure what you’re hearing, then adjust the frequencies of a song, so you get consistently detailed playback every time. There's also Personalized Volume, which uses machine learning to understand your listening patterns and adapt to your preferences over time, as well as Personalized Spatial Audio, which uses the TrueDepth camera on your iPhone to create a custom profile based on the geometry of your head, delivering deeply immersive sound tailored to you.

AirPods Pro 3 also combine Active Noise Cancellation with next-level Transparency, which makes your voice and the world around you sound even more natural and vibrant, intelligently adapting to your environment to prioritize what you need to hear, when you need to hear it. Designed with an upgraded acoustic seal, the AirPods automatically adapt to your environment and preferences, and new ultra-low-noise microphones remove even more unwanted sound. They can also reduce background noise and isolate voices during calls, and the Conversation Awareness feature means that when you’re talking to someone nearby, they will automatically lower the volume of whatever you’re listening to, and raise it back up when you’re finished.
