Select styles do feature the NeverWet protection, and these will not require an initial treatment. If your style does not feature or is suede, it will trap dirt on the surface, making the cleaning process easier. The spray will put a protective sealer over the upper to keep the dirt and grease out which will enhance the life of the shoe. Please ensure that fit and style meet your satisfaction before applying these products.
