Product Overview

While many of us can remember the Birds series banknotes introduced from 1986 to 1991, collectors are quickly realizing that surviving near-perfect uncirculated examples of many of these notes are in fact extremely scarce.  This is especially the case for the oldest and first-issued signatures to appear on these notes. This collection includes a complete set of all seven denominations from the $2 to $1,000 Bird series banknotes, all in uncirculated condition, and all featuring matched early-issue signatures of Gordon Thiessen as the deputy governor and John Crow as the governor of the Bank of Canada.  For all denominations other than the $2 and $5 bill, this was the first signature issue. Each note comes presented in a professional-quality archival display holder.
