Custom Made Platinum Old European Cut Diamond and Emerald Safety Pin Brooch

This exquisite custom-made antique brooch reimagines the humble safety pin as a piece of wearable art, marrying utility with elegance in a design that is both bold and symbolic. Crafted in platinum, the brooch is entirely set with 45 old European cut diamonds, totalling approximately 1.68 carats, arranged in a single, graceful row along the top of the pin and wrapping around both ends for a continuous sparkle. Each diamond, hand-cut in the traditional old European style, evokes the craftsmanship of a bygone era, with deep crowns, small tables, and open culets that reflect light in a softer, more romantic manner than modern cuts. 

Adding a luxurious and unexpected twist, each terminal of the safety pin features a carved emerald. The larger emerald anchors the broader end, while a smaller, complementary stone graces the opposite side.
