This striking 10K yellow gold ring is centered by a substantial 3.93-carat oval citrine, glowing with the warm golden hue characteristic of this captivating quartz variety. The stone takes centre stage in a distinctive drop-style halo of eight diamonds, each illusion set against rhodium. This clever period-inspired technique visually blends the diamonds with their bright setting, creating the impression of a more continuous halo of larger stones while maximizing their sparkle.
Flanking the citrine are two beautifully detailed tapered shoulders, each set with six round fire opals. The opals are arranged in a graduated 3–2–1 pyramid configuration, following the taper of the shoulders and creating a particularly charming geometric composition. Their flashes of fiery colour contrast beautifully with the rich yellow gold, while the surrounding beaded texture adds dimension and a distinctly crafted quality to the design.
