14K White Gold Fancy Design Diamond Ring

This 14K white gold ring is centred with a six-prong 0.46-carat round, brilliant-cut diamond. The diamond appears as though it's floating, as it is part of the original ring that is now soldered to a fancy jacket. The jacket is unique in it has a six diamond scrolled shoulder on each side and fancy pierced vine-like curled details, each side set with an additional six diamonds. The centre diamond is laser-inscribed with "GSL722394."

A diamond laser inscription is done by lightly etching a combination of letters and numbers into the stone, usually on the girdle with a very small and precise laser beam. These symbols serve as a unique identifier that can be used to identify a specific stone if necessary. The laser inscription is seen using a jeweller's loupe but is not visible to the human eye and has no effect on the diamond's quality or light performance. This is particularly beneficial in the case of theft or loss and may aid in the recovery of the stone.
