This charming 14K yellow gold ring features a vibrant floral-inspired cluster of opals and rubies, brought together in a graceful composition of colour, texture, and dimension.
At the center, a round 0.13 ctw ruby is secured in a classic prong setting, serving as the focal point of the design. Four oval cabochon-cut opals surround the center ruby, each oriented north to south to form an elegant, marquise-inspired silhouette. Their softly domed surfaces and luminous play of colour provide a beautiful contrast to the rich red hues of the surrounding rubies.
Encircling the central arrangement are 24 round rubies, individually prong set and carefully graduated in height. The stones undulate around the cluster, with the rubies at the top and bottom positioned lower than those at the sides. This sculptural rise-and-fall creates the impression of floral petals, giving the ring a dimensional and organic character.
A high polished split shank branches naturally from the base of the cluster.
