14K Yellow and White Gold 1.62-Carat Pear-Shaped Diamond Ring

This extraordinary ring proudly showcases a 1.62-carat pear-shaped diamond solitaire. The diamond is set in a basket of 14K white gold with five prongs: two on each side with a "V" shape at the tip. The rectangular top is crafted in high-polished yellow gold and splits to accommodate the diamond which is situated to one side. The square shoulders taper just slightly as they round into a Euro shank; Euro shanks are distinguished by their wide, square-looking base along the outer edge of the ring. The inner shank is unaffected and still round, allowing the ring to perfectly fit the finger. The Euro shank is popular and often selected to prevent a ring from spinning, particularly when it is top-heavy.
