15K Yellow Gold 0.27-Carat Crest-Shaped Diamond Ring

This distinctive antique ring is crafted in rich 15k yellow gold and features a beautifully executed crest shaped signet design, blending traditional form with refined decorative detail. At the centre sits a 0.27 carat round, brilliant-cut diamond, prong set within an engraved star motif. The carefully cut lines radiate outward to form a star shape around the stone, a classic setting style that enhances the diamond’s brilliance while adding a subtle, symbolic touch. 

The crest itself is finished to a high polish, creating a smooth, reflective surface that contrasts elegantly with the textured elements of the band. Along the shoulders, the gold is ribbed, adding depth and dimension, before gently curving upward to meet the crest in a seamless, sculptural flow. Inside the band, clear British hallmarks speak to the ring’s origin and age. The anchor mark denotes assay in Birmingham, while the "15" and "625" confirm the gold purity as 15k, a standard used in Britain until it was discontinued in 1932.
