Product Overview
This striking and sizable (1 and 3/4 inches long) navette shape Art Deco brooch/pendant, meticulously handcrafted in lovely white gold - circa 1920s Art Deco period- centres on a glossy and elegantly curved black onyx plaque. centreed in the middle is a cabochon cut elongated oval, set with a striking gem pairing of onyx and malachite in a diagonally bisected pattern.
The middle stone is surrounded by diamonds, set in halo fashion, and a fancy scalloped overlay spans from the oval surround in both a north/ south and east/west presentation. One hundred and sixty-eight diamonds shine in brilliant fashion from the overlay which is masterfully secured to the top via a wire framework that supports the underside. A double loop bale and pin provide the option of wearing the piece as a pendant or brooch.
