Product Overview
Rich in symbolism and sculptural design, this 18K yellow gold jadeite jade and diamond ring is a striking celebration of form and colour. At its centre rests a bezel-set oval cabochon jadeite jade, measuring 15.5 mm x 11.5 mm x 3.9 mm. The cabochon cut enhances the jade’s smooth, luminous surface, allowing its natural colour and soft translucency to glow beautifully within the warm embrace of polished yellow gold. The shoulders are architecturally designed as roll-top columns, formed from an elongated pear shaped split shank.
Beginning just beyond the sizing bar at the back, the band gracefully divides and widens as it approaches the top. The curved open space between the split forms a rounded crest at the top and a solid column base at both the front and back. Each curved shoulder crest is set with five round brilliant cut diamonds, arranged with the largest stone at the centre and two smaller diamonds on either side. This symmetrical arrangement adds refined sparkle, accentuating the bold central jade while complementing the ring’s elegant curves.
Jadeite is the rarer and more valuable of the two minerals known as jade (the other being nephrite). Highly prized for its vibrant colour and translucency, jadeite occurs in a range of hues including green, lavender, white, yellow, and even black.
