18K Yellow Gold Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Bean Earrings for Non-Pierced Ears

These 18K yellow gold earrings were made by Elsa Peretti at Tiffany & Co. Peretti is an Italian jewellery designer and philanthropist as well as a fashion model, and her arrival at Tiffany & Co. in 1974 signalled a revolution in jewellery design. She considered the bean seed to be a symbol of the origins of life, and created her famous design for Tiffany & Co. in 1974. It symbolized her connection to the natural world and her love of simple and sculptural forms. These bean earrings are for non-pierced ears and have a high-polished finish with omega backings. They are stamped "Tiffany & Co ©Peretti."
