Product Overview

This 18K gold turquoise and rose cut diamond cluster ring marries vibrant colour with historic gemstone charm in a bold, sculptural design. At its heart is a cabochon cut round turquoise gemstone, elegantly prong set to create a smooth, domed focal point. Surrounding this centre stone is a floral inspired arrangement of white gold marquise shaped petals, each set with a rose cut diamond, their soft, gently faceted surfaces evoking a vintage sensibility and suggesting the open bloom of a sunflower. Between each marquise petal, toward the top edge of the setting, are eight additional round cabochon cut turquoise stones, each individually prong-set and embraced by a ribbed yellow gold motif that wraps around the lower portion of each gem. This alternating interplay of turquoise and diamond continues in two staggered concentric rows, each element framed with finely detailed ribbed yellow gold, enhancing texture and luminous contrast throughout the composition. The shank itself is equally elaborate: six coiled rows of 18K yellow gold rise from the base, each separated and intricately formed to differing heights. The outermost two of these coils form the structural band of the ring, while the inner four ascend toward the gemstone cluster, adding architectural depth and visual rhythm. At the reverse side of the ring, all six coiled strands converge seamlessly, completing a cohesive and sculptural silhouette that balances the ornate top with a comfortable fit.

The use of rose cut diamonds, cabochon turquoise, and mixed metal detailing (white and yellow gold) strongly suggests inspiration from late 19th  to early 20th century aesthetics. Rose cut diamonds were widely popular before the advent of modern brilliant cuts, prized in Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras for their flat backs and large, open facets that catch light softly and complement coloured gemstones. Predating modern brilliant cuts, rose cut diamonds feature a flat base with a domed top covered in triangular facets that resemble the petals of a rose, hence the name. Rather than maximizing internal sparkle, rose cuts offer a luminous, subtle glow and a more antique, romantic feel.
