Gifts of Diamonds

Product Overview

This very fashionable ring is custom crafted in 18K gold and features a beautiful buckle design. The band is satin finished in yellow gold and trimmed with a slightly raised high-polished border; it appears to insert through the belt loop and overlap the band at the top, while it tapers to a 'V' in the same way that a belt would. Three round brilliant diamonds represent the belt holes, and a white gold buckle wraps around on the opposite side. The buckle is set with eight round brilliant cut diamonds, and all combine for .12 carats.

Aside from eternal binding love, the buckle ring was also seen as a symbol of unbreakable loyalty and enduring memory. After the death of a family member or friend, wearing a buckle ring served as a tangible connection to the deceased, and comforted those grieving by keeping memories of the lost loved one alive. Belt buckle rings were also considered remembrance jewellery during the Victorian Era. The secure bond between the belt and the buckle was a representation of strength and connection during mourning.
