This custom-made platinum ring centers on a luminous 8.2 mm to 8.3 mm round cultured pearl, securely mounted in a classic four prong setting with a peg mount visible from the underside. Framing the pearl is a refined cushion shaped arrangement of richly coloured baguette-cut sapphires and sparkling round, brilliant-cut diamonds, creating a balanced composition that complements the pearl’s soft, organic beauty.
Four baguette-cut sapphires define the cardinal points of the surrounding frame, with one positioned at the top, bottom, and each side of the cushion shaped design. The upper and lower sapphires are set horizontally, while the side sapphires are oriented vertically.
Between each sapphire are pairs of round, brilliant-cut diamonds, delicately secured in prong settings and arranged to follow the gentle curves of the cushion shaped frame. Their placement softens the geometric lines of the sapphires while creating a continuous ribbon of sparkle around the pearl.
The contrast between the pearl’s smooth, lustrous surface, the crisp linearity of the baguette-cut sapphires, and the lively brilliance of the diamonds gives this one-of-a-kind ring a sophisticated balance of softness and geometry.
