Italian Made 14K Yellow Gold Ruby and Diamond Drop Necklace

This 14K yellow-gold Italian-made ruby-and-diamond necklace is both radiant and exquisitely detailed. It showcases masterful artistry and timeless romance with its graceful centrepiece and elegant chain. The centrepiece features a sequence of alternating oval rubies and yellow gold heart-shaped motifs, each heart bezel-set with a single round brilliant-cut diamond. 

Turned sideways, the hearts nestle perfectly between the rubies, each “cheek” touching the ruby before it, and each point reaching toward the next, creating a fluid, harmonious rhythm. Three ruby-and-heart combinations adorn each side, guiding the eye to the captivating central design. 

At the heart of the necklace is a charming butterfly motif, centred by a luminous oval ruby. Its wings are formed by four marquise-shaped elements, opened gently to embrace the first heart on each side. Just above the central ruby, two sparkling diamonds create delicate, expressive eyes. Suspended from the butterfly is a shimmering 4-prong-set diamond, leading to a breathtaking ruby-and-diamond cluster drop. 

Here, a vivid ruby is encircled by diamonds arranged in a scalloped floral halo, adding movement, elegance, and a touch of vintage-inspired beauty. The necklace is finished with a beautifully crafted, fancy interlocking loop chain and a secure lobster clasp, completing the look with Italian refinement. Measuring 17.5 inches, the piece drapes gracefully along the neckline. In total, eight rubies (1.19 carats) glow with rich colour, complemented by twenty-three round brilliant diamonds (0.64 carats) that add brilliance and contrast.
