Collect a first-strike brilliant uncirculated mint roll of each of the 2022 denominations issued for circulation in Canada, which now also represent the final year of issue for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Each year, the Royal Canadian Mint sets aside the first 5,000 rolls of each denomination and offers them to collectors as the first strikes produced on new dies. These rolls include some of the best-quality choice uncirculated coins and are designated as first strikes with a special premium wrapper with a holographic label. Rolls include the two-dollar polar bear (25 coins), the one-dollar common loon (25 coins), the 25-cent caribou (40 coins), the 10-cent Bluenose (50 coins), and the five-cent beaver (40 coins). There are 180 coins in total, and the five rolls come housed in a Royal Canadian Mint presentation case with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Upon the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, these coins have taken on additional significance and collectability, with the full mintage quickly sold out from the Royal Canadian Mint.
