Family Viennese Nutcracker

This lovely nutcracker is intricately detailed from head-to-toe. His red and gold trimmed hat, which is painted in two-types of finish so the gold pattern stands out, sits atop a head of snowy-white hair. His uniform is full of gold buttons and trimmed with gold and royal-blue epaulets, lapel, edging and cuffs, while his red-glitter-striped pants tuck neatly into criss-cross
laced black boots. He stands above four beautifully packaged and colourful gifts gifts while he taps out a tune on his red-green drum with golden drumsticks! Each one of these beautiful pieces takes about six days to finish. It is carefully packaged in a lovely collector's box for easy gifting, and includes an authentic collectors tag with the Huras family crest.

This handmade guard from Vienna's Hofburg Palace is a wonderful gift for a grandchild or any collector. Originally sculpted in clay, this shape was then then cast into a metal mold used by glassblowers to create a delicate glass shape. It is finished with glass ornaments with hand-applied colours and glitter details, decorated by skilled artists.
