Shipping: $9.99
Product Overview
Collect the history of Canada's last three two-dollar banknotes with this three-part set including a 1954 modified note featuring the original young portrait of Queen Elizabeth when she was only 27 years old, a 1974 issue featuring a more mature portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and an uncut pair of the last two-dollar bill ever issued, dated 1986. All the notes are in about uncirculated to uncirculated condition and come protected in archival-quality mylar display holders.
The uncut notes were never released through the banking system and come from a brief Bank of Canada offering of uncut sheets to collectors shortly before the banknote denomination was retired. Two-dollar banknotes were replaced in Canada by new polar-bear design two-dollar coins starting in 1996.
