Product Overview
This is a Choice to Gem Uncirculated seven-piece specimen collection of the Canadian multicolour series paper money, including the 1969–1975 $1 to the $20 notes, plus the 1979 $5 and $20 notes. All the notes are overprinted "specimen" by the Bank of Canada and feature all zeros for serial numbers.
While during era of the multicolour note series several different signature combinations appeared based on changes to the deputy governor and governor of the Bank of Canada, this set was likely produced as the first internal trials before any of the notes were issued, and all notes feature the original signatures of R. W. Lawson as the deputy governor and G. K. Bouey as the governor of the bank.
Multicolour Series, 1969–1975
