Built with a blend of performance and reliability, this portable SSD from OWC is designed to handle the needs of demanding pros and everyday personal needs. Equipped with an 2 TB OWC Aura Pro IV PCIe 4.0 SSD, the Envoy delivers speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s. It comes preformatted APFS for macOS 10.13 and later and iPadOS 13 and later, but may be reformatted used with Windows, Chrome and Linux. It connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port via plug-and-play, but is backwards-compatible with 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 480 Mb/s USB 2.0. It may also be connected to USB-A ports using a USB-C to USB-A adapter (not included). Other features include bus power, an aluminum enclosure and an integrated LED indicator for power and activity status. A 12-inch USB-C cable is also included.
