1937 Allegorical Design Series
This series features the face design of King George VI on all the $1 to $20 notes. The 1937 series is the first series of bilingual banknotes in Canada and the last issue to feature allegorical designs. The allegorical vignettes are also regarded as some of the most beautiful artwork ever to appear on Canadian banknotes.
