This set includes all seven 1937-issue Canadian banknotes from the $1 note to the $100 in premium high grade "very fine" to "about uncirculated" condition. Each note comes protected in a high-quality display holder. The issues of 1937 feature King George on the front of the $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, and $50 notes, while the $100 features Sir John A. Macdonald. The 1937 series is the first series of bilingual banknotes in Canada and the last issue to feature allegorical designs. The allegorical vignettes are also regarded as some of the most beautiful artwork ever to appear on Canadian banknotes.
