Premium Heirloom Banknote Collection (42 notes, from pre-Confederation to 1937)

This is a superb and very comprehensive collection of 42 different Canadian banknotes spanning from before Canadian Confederation up to 1937. The collection starts with 17 different notes issued by Canada's chartered banks under authority of the government. This includes four notes issued pre-Confederation highlighted by a $4 denomination, four post-Confederation large-format notes dating from before 1934, and nine small-format chartered notes from the mid-1930s. Ten different Dominion of Canada notes are included dating from 1870 to 1923, followed by three notes from 1935 and 12 notes from the 1937 series from $1 to $100. While the oldest rare issues are mostly well circulated, many of the notes in the collection are high-grade premium quality examples, making this a true heirloom collection.
