Year 2003 W New Effigy Loon Dollars - Ten Coins, Numismatic Gem Uncirculated

In the year 2003, the Royal Canadian Mint produced two different major varieties of loon dollar coins, some with the diademed portrait of the queen introduced in 1990, and some with a new uncrowned portrait of the queen introduced mid-year in 2003. Numismatic uncirculated collector-issue strikes become even more interesting, as some coins were also made with a "W" mint mark, indicating that the coins were made in Winnipeg. These W mint mark coins were not issued for circulation and are highly sought-after by collectors, especially in superb near-flawless condition. This set includes 10 carefully selected premium gem numismatic uncirculated examples of the 2003 W mint mark new effigy loon-dollar coins.
