  1. Brown Italian sausage and ground beef in pan
  2. Heat tomato sauce and season to taste (store bought is fine)
  3. Slice banana peppers, remove seeds and then broil
  4. Spoon sauce in bottom of baking pan. Lay down lasagna noodles, add a few spoonfuls of meat, banana peppers, ricotta, and shredded mozeerala and repeat until pan is full.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. You can also slice it into smaller pieces if you prefer individual servings
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and softened butter; mix until well blended
  4. Stir in the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, sliced green and black olives, thinly sliced onions, and garlic powder; mix until all ingredients are well combined
  5. Season the mixture with salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  6. Spread the olive cheese mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread
  7. Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread edges are golden brown

  1. Toss all ingredients (except for flour and cormeal) into a large pot and let simmer for at least 12 hours
  2. After simmering for 12 hours, remove the vegetables and bones from the pot and carefully separate the marrow from the bones. Use a knife to scrape off stubborn pieces
  3. With an immersion blender, mix the marrow and remaining ingredients into a patĂŞ-like consistency; it will be somewhat runny
  4. Transfer the mixture to a floured surface; add flour as needed until the mixture is pliable and can be shaped into nuggets; dredge each nugget in cornmeal
  5. Heat nuggets in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and crisp

  1. Mix together flour, baking soda, nutmeg, allspice, cardamom, and salt; remove 2 tablespoons of mixture and toss with chopped, toasted pecans
  2. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, vegetable oil, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract
  3. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and add mashed bananas and crushed pineapples and the cup of flour with chopped, toasted pecans
  4. Divide batter evenly in three pans and bake for 15 minutes; rotate pans and bake another 10 minutes or until edges are browned.
  5. Make the icing: using stand mixer, beat together unsalted margarine and vegetable shortening at room temperature;.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of white vanilla extract until combined and then gradually sift iin icing sugar; beat on hight until smoothy and creamy
  7. Layer the cake with icing and finish by adding toasted chopped pecans over the top and shredded coconut around the sides
