Product Overview

This is a Choice to Gem uncirculated six-piece specimen collection of the Canadian "Birds" Series paper money dated from 1986 to 1991, including all denominations from $2 to $100.  All the notes are overprinted "specimen" by the Bank of Canada and feature all zeros for serial numbers.

While during era of the Birds series several different signature combinations appeared based on changes to the deputy governor and governor of the Bank of Canada, this set bears the first signatures for each note issue. The $50 and $100 notes bear the signatures of Thiessen and Crow as the Deputy Governor and Governor of the Bank of Canada, while the $2, $5, $10 and $20 bear the signatures of Thiessen and Crow.
