18K Yellow and White Gold Tiffany & Co. Interlocking Diamond Heart Ring
Product Overview
A romantic and sculpturally distinctive creation by Tiffany & Co., this exceptional 18K gold ring features two interlocking heart motifs arranged in opposing directions, one with its point facing upward and the other with its point facing downward. The result is an elegant expression of interconnectedness, enhanced by the contrast between warm yellow gold and bright white gold diamond settings.
Each heart is beautifully defined by a delicate rope textured border, emphasizing its outline and giving the motifs a dimensional, almost jewel-like quality. Within each heart, ten round diamonds are individually set in white gold, for a total of twenty diamonds across the two motifs. The diamonds are of particularly fine quality, with stated clarity ranging from VVS-2 to VS-1 and colour in the F–G range, providing an exceptional combination of transparency, brilliance, and near-colourless appearance.
The two hearts are positioned on a slight opposing angle, allowing them to interlock naturally while creating a dynamic presentation across the finger. Extending from each heart to approximately three-quarters of the way around the shank is a distinctive wide ribbed texture. The ribbing gradually transitions into the smooth areas of the shank, allowing the ring to be easily sized.
The use of white gold within the heart motifs provides a crisp setting for the diamonds, while the surrounding 18K yellow gold emphasizes the sculptural warmth of the piece. The combination of rope edging, ribbed goldwork, opposing heart forms, and contrasting metal colours gives the ring a sophisticated late 20th-century character. The inside of the shank is appropriately stamped “Tiffany & Co.,” identifying the ring as a signed creation of the renowned New York jewellery house.
Founded in New York in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has long been associated with innovative American jewellery design, exceptional gemstones, and distinctive interpretations of romantic motifs. The house has produced numerous heart and interlocking heart designs over the decades, including pieces in both yellow gold and white gold. Surviving examples of Tiffany double heart jewellery from the late 20th century demonstrate the company's enduring use of the heart as a symbol of connection and affection.
A rare and highly wearable example of Tiffany's romantic design language, this ring brings together 20 fine diamonds, 18K yellow and white gold, and two interlocking hearts in a sophisticated composition that is unmistakably Tiffany in spirit.
