Bold in colour yet refined in its construction, this 10K yellow gold ring features a striking 2.86-carat cushion-shaped citrine as its centerpiece, accented by four vivid princess-cut garnets. The citrine is set vertically within a distinctive semi-bezel setting, with the gold framing the stone at its top and bottom.
Rather than sitting flush with the finger, the gemstone is intentionally raised above the band, giving it a sculptural presence and allowing the warm golden-orange tones of the citrine to command attention. Beneath the stone, a solid, high polished undergallery provides a substantial foundation.
The shoulders of the band slope gradually downward from the center, creating a natural transition from the elevated citrine into the more streamlined shank. Along each shoulder, two princess-cut garnets are channel set, for a total of four. Their rich burgundy colour provides a dramatic contrast against both the warm yellow gold and the sunny transparency of the citrine.
A particularly appealing design detail is the treatment of the garnet channels. The channel-set section is slightly raised above the surrounding surface of the band, creating a subtle linear border along both its upper and lower edges. This architectural detail gives the garnet setting the appearance of being outlined or framed.
